American 'Suffering' in Russian 'Gulag' Being 'Ignored'

American citizen and professional musician James "Jimmy" Wilgus has been incarcerated in Russia since 2016, a victim, his supporters say, of President Vladimir Putin's unjust legal system.

But, crucially, unlike other high-profile U.S. detainees, Wilgus' advocates are still working to spread awareness of his case in hope of securing an early release from the Soviet-style gulag where he's been sent.
