Hamas will cease to exist after the Israel Defense Forces operation against it, Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared on Sunday during a meeting at the country's Air Force Command Center, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The defense minister emphasized that this war needs to be the "last campaign in Gaza, for the simple reason that after this Hamas will not exist."
He specified that "it will take a month, two months, three, but in the end there will be no Hamas," adding that "before the enemy meets the armored and infantry forces, he is meeting the bombs of the Air Force. From my impression, you know how to do it in a lethal, precise, and very high-quality way, as has been proven so far."
