ISTANBUL (AP) — Turkey's state-run news agency says several ambulances have been dispatched in the mainly-Kurdish city of Diyarbakir following a bomb attack targeting police.

The Anadolu Agency said the attack occurred Tuesday in central Diyarbakir.

Kurdish rebels have been targeting police and military targets since July, when a fragile peace process collapsed.
