LONDON (AP) — Scottish officials say that part of the Scottish Parliament has been evacuated after a suspicious package was found and police are at the scene.

The reports indicated Tuesday that the package was found at the Conservative Party offices within the parliament building.

Police and emergency officials are evaluating the situation.

Officials say some buildings on the parliament compound remain open to the public and that some parliamentary business will continue as planned.
