A merchant vessel was hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle west of Yemen's Hodeidah, but no casualties were reported onboard, British maritime agencies said on Monday.

No damages on the vessel were reported, British security firm Ambrey said, while the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said the vessel was proceeding to the next port of call.
