PANAMA CITY (AP) — The Trump hotel in Panama City remains open for business against a backdrop of service interruptions, bad press and a fight over the Trump Organization's management contract that ended in fisticuffs and repeated police calls.
Considered one of the city's finest, the Trump hotel has been weathering such problems as intermittently running water and a four-hour power outage last Friday.
Guests who spoke to The Associated Press seem unimpressed with the Panama City property's fondness for aggressive branding. A tourist from Chicago, Leanne Horning, says she could do without the Trump Mojito. That drink joins others on the menu along with Tropical Trump, Trump Breeze and Trump Rose.
For guests finding their rooms without running water there were Trump-branded bottles of the stuff.
