BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Serbian police say a man has detonated a hand grenade inside a bakery in downtown Belgrade, killing himself. There were no other casualties.

Police said they were investigating the motive and circumstances of Monday's blast. Witnesses say the man asked people to leave the bakery before he activated the grenade.

The bakery is owned by former Culture Minister Bratislav Petkovic.
