Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has been tapped for jury duty and will be part of a panel hearing a personal injury lawsuit at the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
Walker's participation in the trial, which is expected to last two days, comes after he was axed from a list of potential jurors on a murder case,
the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Walker said he has been called for jury duty twice — once when he served as Milwaukee County executive and again when he was an Assembly representative.
But this is the first time he has been picked to hear a case.
The murder trial Walker was earlier rejected from involved a fatal shooting in a bar last May.
Walker is considered a potential GOP candidate for president in 2016.
