Sunday, 30 November 2014 03:26 PM EST

Authorities at John F. Kennedy International Airport say they found nothing dangerous on an American Airlines plane after a bomb threat was called in.

Flight 67 from Barcelona landed safely in New York City at about noon Sunday.

The 200 passengers plus crew were taken off the aircraft while police and K-9 unit dogs swept the aircraft and its cargo.

Joe Pentangelo with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police says all is now clear after the bomb threat.

Pentangelo says authorities are now investigating the source of the call.
