United Airlines will compensate all those who were on the flight in which a passenger was dragged from his seat and down the aisle of the plane in a shocking removal caught on cellphone video, CNBC reported Wednesday.

According to the business news outlet, the airline announced it will reimburse all the passengers on Sunday's Flight 341 from Chicago to Louisville, Ky., in which 69-year-old Dr. David Dao was bloodied during his removal from the plane.

According to CNBC, all the passengers will be reimbursed for the cost of their ticket.

The video of the incident sparked national outrage and calls for congressional investigations, though airline CEO Oscar Munoz initially blamed Dao for the violence, and said "established procedures" were followed for his removal.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday called Dao's dragging from the plane "troubling."

"I don't think anyone looks at that video and isn't disturbed that a man was treated that way," he said.

Earlier Wednesday, Munoz again apologized for the incident, CNBS reported – vowing it will never happen again and he was intent on fixing the situation and the reputation of United. He also said the airline will no longer use law enforcement to remove passengers who have been bumped from their seats.

Dao remained hospitalized Tuesday, but it was unclear if he had since been released, CNBC reported.
