Trump Turns Down Obama Offer to Keep Kids' Playset at WH for Grandkids

CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller reported on Thursday that the Obama administration contacted President-elect Donald Trump's team and offered to leave on the Oval Office grounds a playset for Trump's son Barron or grandchildren.

Trump's team turned them down, Knoller said.

The set had belonged to President Barack Obama's daughters, Malia and Sasha, and was placed there in 2009. The set has been donated to the needy at a local organization, Knoller reported.
