President Donald Trump on Thursday took to Twitter to congratulated Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program for its ratings hike.
The president also slammed "fake news" media, calling it "officially out of control."
Ratings for the Fox News show have increased 52 percent since last year among viewers ages 25 to 54, a valuable demographic for advertisers, according to CNN Money.
MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough slammed Trump's tweets, saying, "It's like he's waking up . . . You're president of the United States. You've got the Middle East peace process to worry about, North Korean missiles possibly raining down on Seattle, but he is specifically talking about 'Fox & Friends.'"
