Ronald Reagan's daughter has labeled President Donald Trump an "addled teenager" for insulting "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski in a series of tweets.
"At a time in the world when we desperately need dignity and eloquence, we have a president who behaves like an addled teenager who can't get his mind out of the gutter, and who thinks that brawling is an appropriate means of communication," Patti Davis wrote on her Facebook page.
She added: "God help us all."
On Thursday, Trump's tweets about the MSNBC power couple set off a day of rebukes from all corners.
Davis, Reagan’s youngest daughter and an outspoken liberal, also slammed Trump earlier this week, saying new restrictions on how the media can cover White House press briefings is a consequence of Trump trying to be a dictator.
"The new White House tactic of barring cameras from the press briefings is pure bullying," she said on Facebook. "It's Donald Trump acting on his love of dictators, and trying to be one."
