Flights Delayed in Northeast by FAA Control-Center Outage

Flights were delayed for more than an hour at some Northeast U.S. airports after an outage occurred at a regional air-traffic control center in Virginia on Saturday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration website.

Four airports were expecting late flights, with Baltimore- Washington International facing up to 2-hour delays. Delays at LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy airports in New York were as
