Mar-a-Lago resembled the set of a Hollywood war movie Monday night as a team of Navy SEALs transformed President Donald Trump's Winter White House into a battlefield to show off their crack commando skills.
The wild scene began as a Navy chopper hovered over the 17-acre, palm tree-dotted oceanfront property in Palm Beach and a handful of uniformed SEALs dropped ropes and rappelled to the lush, green lawn.
The elite force staged a fight in which a K-9 patrol dog fought off a terrorist, as well as an "explosive, smoky, weapon fire-filled confrontation between a terrorist-filled car and a specially-armored vehicle," The Palm Beach Daily News reports.
The military display was part of the biennial fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Navy SEAL Museum and Memorial. It attracted some 600 people and raised $1.5 million.
