Former Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill, famous for firing the fatal shot that killed Osama bin Laden, took to Twitter to criticize the students who are calling for gun control.
O'Neill wrote in a tweet Monday:
O'Neill was among dozens of U.S. Special Operations troops who attacked terror leader Osama bin Laden's hideout in 2011. He told The Washington Post in 2014 that he fired the shot that killed bin Laden as he took cover behind his youngest wife.
Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, where a gunman killed 17 in February, organized a Saturday march event, in which hundreds of thousands of demonstrators gathered in Washington, D.C. and at cities around the U.S. to call for action against gun violence.
