Former Arkansas governor, Fox television host and possible 2016 GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee is writing a new book focused on his vision of America — past, present and future, St. Martin's Press announced Tuesday.
The book, "God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy," is set for a winter 2015 publication.
In a release, Huckabee, who launched a run for the White House in 2008, said he aimed to "inspire readers to think about their own values and rediscover what makes America great.”
St. Martin's said in its release the book would cover topics ranging from the ""the erosion of public education, government intrusion on personal freedoms," religion, "wrong heroes" and the "consequences of pressuring young children to mature and excel."
Huckabee's last book, released last October, was
"Dear Chandler, Dear Scarlett: A Grandfather's Thoughts on Faith, Family, and the Things That Matter Most."
