President Donald Trump deserves a C-minus grade for his accomplishments during his first 100 days, according to Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks.
"I'd say a C-minus. There's some things that he's tried to do. I'd give him a credit for the Supreme Court. I guess it's a low bar when you do what you say you were going to do. No major policy changes at all. Signs a lot of executive orders that he doesn't truly understand," Cuban said Friday on CNN's "New Day."
"But there's still hope," Cuban said.
Trump's support comes from "political chemotherapy," according to Cuban, because voters wanted something different than the usual political system.
"Is he poisonous in a lot of respects? Yeah. This is our chemotherapy. We hope that he is going to change the political system. And if that's the way you're evaluating Donald Trump, he's doing a phenomenal job," Cuban said.
Trump gets a C-minus because of what he has not accomplished, Cuban said.
"He doesn't have a foundation for any tax changes. He's going to find out it is also very complicated and more difficult to get past," he said.
Also, because the president hasn't attempted to work with Democrats, Cuban said.
"Now he says everybody hates me, and nobody's helping me, and he pouts."
Cuban has been a frequent critic of the president. On April 1, Cuban said that there was no chance Trump was part of any Russian conspiracy, because Trump "isn't detail oriented, organized, or big picture enough."
