Actor Lou Ferrigno said he was talking to President Donald Trump about leading the President's Council for Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition.
"I've been corresponding with President Trump because I want to change America and make America healthy again," Ferrigno told The Daily Mail.
"I'm a top choice for that. So we'll see what happens . . . I feel like I'm the best candidate for that," said Ferrigno, who played the superhero Hulk in a CBS TV series in the 1970s.
Other celebrities and athletes have been chairs of the council, including Arnold Schwarzenegger from 1990 to 1992. Quarterback Drew Brees and Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes were appointed co-chairs in 2010, according to the council's history page.
