The teenager who sang at President Donald Trump's inauguration wants to meet with him to discuss transgender issues.

Jackie Evancho, 16, has a transgender sister and first asked for the president's time in a post on Twitter last month after Trump's administration reversed an order by former President Barack Obama regarding transgender bathroom and locker room policies at public schools:

On Monday, Evancho — who sang the national anthem to kick off Trump's inauguration ceremony on Jan. 20 — posted another message on Twitter aimed at getting the president's attention on the issue:

Five hours after Evancho posted the tweet, there was no response from Trump or the White House on the social media platform.
