An Illinois judge of 10 years is questioning how she could have tripped alarms with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) that resulted in a screening reserved for terror risks, NBC Chicago is reporting.
Cook County Circuit Court Judge Yolande Bourgeois, coming back from celebrating a birthday in Cancun, Mexico, ended up with "SSSS" on her boarding pass that subjected her to stringent searches, she told NBC Chicago.
The "SSSS" stands for secondary security screening selection.
"If you're looking at me, then who's looking at the real terrorists out there? What could I have possibly done to get put on a list?" Bourgeois told NBC Chicago.
The TSA said it might have been random but the judge will know for sure next time she flies.
"Is anyone safer because I'm on a terror list?" the judge said. "I don't think so!"
