Conservative commentator Glenn Beck painted a poor picture of the House GOP's healthcare bill Friday, saying it will lead to rising costs across the board.

"Your premiums are not going to come down. Maybe in some miracle. But this is not going to fix healthcare. This is going to make healthcare worse," Beck said on his radio program. "If your healthcare bill goes down, your deficit goes through the roof. One of the two.

"We're either going to be looking at $30 trillion in deficit and debt, or we're going to be looking at higher premiums. Most likely, we'll be looking at both."

Beck said he warned about a Republican administration coming into office after former President Barack Obama's eight years in the White House came to an end. The Republicans, Beck said, would have healthcare in their crosshairs because Obamacare would fail.

The American Health Care Act passed in a House vote Thursday, and now it's up to the Senate to make any changes to the measure and get it passed. Beck said the lack of a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score on the bill is indicative of the bill itself.

"One of the reasons why they passed it so quickly is exactly the same reason Obama did: they don't want the CBO score," Beck said. "The speculation is that the CBO will come out and say, 'you need $50 billion or that will collapse.'"
