Gallup Tracking: Romney and Obama Tied

By    |   Thursday, 20 September 2012 07:30 PM EDT

Gallup has released a new poll on Thursday which shows the presidential race is tied, 47 percent to 47 percent.

Gallup asked likely voters if the election were held today, which candidate would get their vote -- Mitt Romney or Barack Obama.

The poll is a little good news for Romney. Gallup had for two straight days polled him trailing Obama by a single point.  It is also a sign that the fallout from a secretely recorded video of Romney may be waning among voters.
