President Donald Trump's son, Eric, blasted The Washington Post after it reportedly called vandalism of a Trump golf course a "daring act of defiance," The Hill reports.
Environmentalists wrote: "NO MORE TIGERS, NO MORE WOODS" in six-foot letters on one of the greens of the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., the Post reported.
In a statement to the Post, the group said the vandalism was in response to the Trump administration's "blatant disregard for the environment."
The Hill reported that the Post's article originally referred to the vandalism as a "daring act of defiance." However, the Post has since updated the story.
The Post article now has an editor's note which reads: "The beginning of this story was changed to more accurately reflect the nature of the actions taken by a protest group against the Trump golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif."
It now refers to the damage as "an elaborate act of vandalism."
