The mansion in Greenwich, Conn., where Donald and Ivana Trump lived in the 1980s has been re-listed for $45 million, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The home, currently owned by financier Robert Steinberg and his wife, Suzanne, was purchased for $15 million from Ivana in 1998. The Trumps originally paid $4 million for the 6-acre property, which included a tennis court and 20,000 square-foot house with eight bedrooms, a movie theater and a gym. Ivana kept the house after she and Donald Trump divorced.
The Steinbergs originally listed the property for $54 million but reduced the price to $45 million before taking it off the market during Trump’s presidential campaign.
“When Donald and Ivana had it, they had it decorated very lavishly,” listing agent Tamar Lurie of Coldwell Banker told WSJ. The Steinbergs “did away with that,” she said. “It’s much more livable and relaxed and quite elegant, but not as lavish as when Ivana had it.”
