A list of all health department websites in the 50 states plus the District of Columbia has been compiled by Policy and Medicine to aid the public in quickly finding relevant information in their area concerning the coronavirus crisis.
The list includes all coronavirus resources the public might find useful in each state, according to Policy and Medicine, including testing information and coronavirus hotlines in each state that has such a service.
The publication said that it compiled the list due to rapid movement of the coronavirus in the United States.
The information available in each state varies widely, according to the effort and early start each location had in organizing its resources.
Policy and Medicine emphasized that patients should not go to the Quest or Labcorp medical offices, because testing is not possible at their locations. Instead, those companies can send office-collected specimens for potential coronavirus patients.
However, the collection criteria is very specific, so one should consult their pages for the detailed information.
In addition, the publication said it can take up to four days to receive results.
