Jeb Bush and his wife, Columba, will be among the faithful attending Pope Francis' Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., this month.
His campaign told
The Washington Post on Friday that the GOP presidential candidate and his wife won't be seeking the spotlight at the event and plan to blend in with the other pilgrims.
At the Sept. 23 Mass, the Pope will canonize Junipero Serra, the Franciscan who founded missions in California. It will be the Roman Catholic Church's first saint-making ceremony to be held in North America, the Post reported.
