A boy missing for 13 years has been found safe in Ohio and his father -- who was suspected in his kindapping for years -- has been arrested.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced, thirteen years after his mother reported him missing from Alabama, that Julian Hernandez, now 18, was found. He went missing in August 2002.
His mother was in legal custody of him at the time of the abduction.
Police say at the time of abduction, it was suspected that the boy's father had taken him.
The father Bobby Hernandez was arrested and charged in connection with the abduction, Alabama's Vestavia Hills Police announced on Wednesday.
The FBI says the case is ongoing and they will not be releasing more details at this time.
