White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is reportedly digging in despite a deluge of ominous news suggesting he's on his way out.

Bannon, who lost his seat on the National Security Council this week, "ain't going anywhere," NBC News reported, citing unnamed sources close to the former Breitbart News official.

The news outlet reported that Bannon is determined to stay to keep "fighting for the president's agenda."

"Democrats will never run the White House," he said, NBC News reported, citing a source. The reference, the news outlet reported, is an apparent jab at President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner as well as at senior economic adviser Gary Cohn.

Bannon has reportedly nicknamed the pair the "West Wing Democrats," NBC News reported.
