Arnold Schwarzenegger said President Donald Trump is so obsessed with him it must be love.
In an interview Tuesday on SiriusXM's "The Michael Smerconish Program," the former California governor speculated about Trump's recent focus on "The New Celebrity Apprentice" host.
"I think he's in love with me," Schwarzenegger said, USA Today reported.
"Is that what it is?" Smerconish replied.
"Yeah, I think so," Schwarzenegger countered, laughing after Smerconish referred to Schwarzenegger's "long relationship" with Trump.
Trump has tweeted — and, in a National Prayer Breakfast, spoken — disparaging remarks about Schwarzenegger's stint as his reality show successor.

In other remarks, Schwarzenegger talked about the need for more centrist politics, according to USA Today.
"I believe very strongly what Eisenhower said, that politics is like the road," he said. "The left and the right is like the gutter and the center is drivable. And I believe that the action is in the center, and I hope that the politicians wake up one day and just decide that they want to do the people's work, rather than the party's work."
And he echoed Trump's remarks about the election system being "rigged," but said redistricting reform has the potential of making congressional races more competitive — and of allowing for more changeover:
"The system is fixed. It's rigged," he said. "And it's not really serving the people well. So, this is why I became a fanatic about redistricting, because I saw the flaws here in California. And we have seen great changes since we have done redistricting reform here in the state."
