Americans feel "unsafe" because they don't know who's in charge of the Ebola response, says Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
President Barack Obama's lack of leadership on both the Islamic State (ISIS) and Ebola has left the public uneasy, the Illinois Republican said Tuesday on
Fox News Channel's "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren."
"The American people feel very unsafe right now. They feel like they don't have a commander-in-chief who's in charge. They feel like they don't have a commander-in-chief who understands their very real fears," Kinzinger said.
The public would better understand the situation if Obama would explain, for example, why Liberia faces bigger challenges than the U.S. does, he said. Instead, the administration has a "cavalier attitude" of "just trust us," Kinzinger said, and that makes people uneasy.
