Some family members of 9/11 victims have complained that the National September 11 Memorial & Museum gift shop dishonors their loved ones, especially since unidentified remains are entombed at the site.

But commentator Ann Coulter says the gift shop is appropriate.

"The Holocaust Museum has a gift shop," Coulter told CNN's Don Lemon on Monday.

While the public feels "massive sympathy" for the survivors and family members of those killed, Coulter said, the museum is about an attack on the entire nation and not about one individual.

In the end, it is a museum, she said, and no one should "bend to these survivors."
