Zoe Kravitz and Karl Glusman are splitting up after 18 months of marriage. According to court documents obtained by People, Lenny Kravitz's daughter filed for divorce from Glusman on Dec. 23. A representative confirmed to the outlet that the couple was calling it quits.
On Saturday, Kravitz posted a cryptic message to her Instagram stories that seemingly referenced her divorce. The meme shows a drag queen throwing a black bag into a trash can.
"People places and things that no longer serve my greatest and highest good," the image reads, per InStyle.
Kravitz and Glusman were first linked in October 2016, and in June 2019 they tied the knot. Kravitz celebrated their one-year anniversary on Instagram with a black-and-white photo taken on their wedding day that was simply captioned: "One year."
The pair were introduced through a mutual acquaintance three years ago and in an interview with British Vogue, Kravitz said she loved that they had not met via a dating app or on a movie set. "My friend knew that I wanted to meet someone — not even to get serious, I think just to get laid, to be completely honest with you — and he brought Karl," she said. "I instantly felt something — then he turned around and started talking to the blonde girl next to him and I was like, 'Wait, what?' But he later told me that he was just nervous."
Kravitz also opened up about married life earlier this year with Elle. "Karl has his own career and needs to focus on that, but we've been together for a few years now, and we know where we are," she said. "If anything, the best part of being married is being able to have the odd fight and knowing neither of us is going to walk out the door. The commitment feels safe."
