"Wisdom of the Crowd" has been canceled amid allegations of sexual misconduct involving the star of the CBS drama, Jeremy Piven, Business Insider reported.
The series draws around 8.3 million viewers each week but despite its popularity, CBS will only air the original 13 episodes it ordered for the season before pulling the plug on the show, Business Insider said.
Allegations of sexual harassment and assault emerged when actress Ariane Bellamar took to Twitter to accuse Piven of groping her several years ago on the set of "Entourage" and at the Playboy Mansion, Deadline reported.
Shortly after the accusations gained national attention, three other women came forth with similar allegations.
"Longmire" actress Cassidy Freeman shared her allegations on Instagram in a lengthy post written in response to Piven's dismissal of Bellamar's allegations.
"I know what you did and attempted to do to me when I was far too young," Freeman said.
Advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby later accused Piven of assaulting her, People magazine reported.
A fourth woman, Anastasia Taneie, recently spoke out against Piven, claiming he had groped her when she was working as a background actress on the set of "Entourage" several years ago, Buzzfeed reported.
Piven has denied each account and, according to NME, gone as far as to release polygraph test results in an attempt to clear his name.
