Windell Middlebrooks, the actor best known the straight shooting "Miller High Life" delivery guy, died unexpectedly at his home in
Los Angeles Monday, his manager told the Los Angeles Times. He was 36.
"He was a wonderful actor, a brilliant human being, and an even better friend," Steve Ivey, Middlebrooks' manager, told the newspaper. "I, along with everyone else whose lives he touched, will miss him more than words can possibly say."
Middlebrooks' cause of death has not been revealed.
The actor appeared in 42 episodes of ABC's series "Body of Proof" with Dana Delany from 2011 to 2013. He also acted in other television shows, including "Parks and Recreation," "Cougar Town," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "Scrubs."
Middlebrooks is also a costar in the Adam Carolla movie "Road Hard," which was released in
theaters on Friday, according to Us Weekly.
He was known to share positive notes on his social media accounts, like Instagram. He posted his last Twitter message last week in which he asked followers to help find a cure for cancer.
Fans and those who starred with Middlebrooks expressed their condolences on Twitter.
