The Who will record their first album in almost a decade this summer, the band’s singer Roger Daltrey told The Times of London.

Pete Townshend, the band’s guitarist, has written more than 100 songs and The Who scheduled recording from May through July, the newspaper reported. Daltrey, 70, will also start working on the band’s memoir.

This will be the first album since "Endless Wire" was released in 2006, the newspaper said.
