Vince Vaughn Buys Former USC Coach Lane Kiffin's $6.5M Mansion

Vince Vaughn has scooped up the $6.5 million Manhattan Beach home previously occupied by former USC football coach Lane Kiffin.

The 7,308-square-foot contemporary Craftsman in Manhattan Beach, Calif., features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a three-car garage with gated driveway, all of which sits on a half-acre lot with a guesthouse, saltwater swimming pool, spa, firepit, and outdoor kitchen.

The purchase follows Vaughn's 2013 acquisition of a Colonial-style home in La Cañada Flintridge for $3.9 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Kiffin, 38, purchased the home for $5.5 million in 2012, two years after he was hired by the Trojans. He was later fired, and put the home up for $6.9 million. He is currently the offensive coordinator for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

The news comes just a day after another big Los Angeles property listing — New England Patriot's Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have just listed their newly-built six bedroom chateau in Brentwood for $50 million.

TMZ reports the couple is building another mansion in Brookline, Mass., and may move there full-time.

"Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids," Brady told reporters recently. "We built this house as a sanctuary for our family — a place where we can enjoy being together . . . It was important for us to plant roots for our family, and since we both enjoy the creative process, we decided to start from scratch."

Vaughn, 43, has starred in many blockbuster films, including "Swingers" (1996), "Wedding Crashers" (2005), and "The Break-Up" (2006). He will star in the upcoming "Business or Pleasure" this fall.

The listing agent for Vaughn's new house was Bryn Stroyke of Stroyke Properties, while Rachel Ezra of Shorewood Realtors represented Vaughn.
