Friendship never ends, but what Victoria Beckham really, really wants is to never sing with the Spice Girls again.
In an interview with the
February edition of Spain’s Vanity Fair, the 39-year-old formerly known as Posh Spice said she’s done. Her performance with the erstwhile group at the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London was it.

"I won’t ever do it again," she told the magazine. "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party."
This isn’t the first time Beckham has resolved to put away the microphone.
E! Online noted that she told the French edition of Vogue late last year that she decided the group was “finished for good in 2008” after completing a hugely successful reunion tour. “The other girls spent time relaxing in bed, shopping and in the gym before heading off to the sound check,” she said. “I arrived with three kids in tow in a really tight dress because I’d been in meetings all day. I just wanted to be elsewhere.”
Four years later she was performing with the group at the Olympics.
The Spice Girls were comprised of Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisolm. The group split up in 2000, but their reunion tour grossed in excess of $70 million in 2008.
Beckham praised the group during the most recent interview. “The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women,” she said. “That’s why I do what I want today.”
Beckham is married to retired British soccer legend David Beckham and has a successful fashion business.
