USPS Omits Christmas From Holiday Mailer, Includes Kwanzaa, Hanukkah

By    |   Friday, 22 November 2013 08:00 PM EST

Where's Christmas? A holiday mailer from the U.S. Postal Service includes references and stamps for Kwanzaa and Hanukkah, but does not mention the word Christmas or show Christian-themed stamps. The third stamp shown on the ad is a gingerbread house.

The ad encouraging customers to "send cheer" and buy "holiday stamps" didn't sit well with one social media observer.

The USPS does offer an array of Christmas stamps, including a few that are religious in tone.

Many on Twitter were upset by the omission.
