Comedian Tracy Morgan had just driven his brand new $2 million Bugatti out the doors of a dealership when he was involved in a collision with a Honda on Tuesday.
The fender-bender left the 61-year-old Honda driver "traumatized" after Morgan, 50, hopped out of his banged-up supercar on a busy New York street and began beating his fists against her window and yelling at her.
"I was driving. I heard somebody hit me. I felt boom," Jocelyn Madulid said, according to Page Six. "He was yelling at me, I got scared. I didn’t yell anything back. I just stayed in my car."
Madulid, whose vehicle suffered minor damages, insisted that Morgan was responsible for the smash-up.
"We are both turning right — people are still crossing," she said. "So what happened is we’re both turning right. But I know he hit me because I was already [turning]. I was there, he was the one who hit me!"
The New York Daily News got a different story from police. Morgan was reportedly driving his vehicle when it was sideswiped by Madulid driving her Honda CRV. The "SNL" comedian had picked up the brand-new Bugatti 30 minutes before the collision.
"This was his dream car. He was talking about it all weekend," Michael Sexton, the Bugatti sales manager at Manhattan Motorcars, told the Daily News. "He couldn’t wait to get it. It was something he wanted to leave to his daughter. Luckily it wasn’t that bad. It’s something easy to repair."
No injuries were reported but a disgruntled Morgan took to Twitter to vent.
"Thanks for any concern but I am totally fine," Morgan posted. “My NEW CAR? We shall see. Love you all."
