Tori Spelling is pregnant once again, adding a fifth child to her and husband Dean McDermott’s often stormy 10-year marriage.
According to CNN, it was a surprise and the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star wasn't expecting another child, at least not right now, but has always dreamed of having a large family.
“It was a total surprise,” Spelling confirmed in this week’s issue of People magazine. “But we always wanted a big family. I’m really excited.”
The couple are already parents of four — Laim, 9, Stella, 8, Hattie, 5 and Finn, 4.
“Dean was saying, ‘We just got Finn out of diapers; I thought we were in the clear!’” Spelling said with a laugh. “For the first time this year, they’re all in school. So it’s like, wow. We’re basically starting over.”
“This baby happened at the best time,” Spelling said, noting they just finished celebrating their10th anniversary. “Nothing is ever perfect, but I’m so madly in love with my husband and with our kids. The idea of adding to that is such a blessing.”
According to Radar Online, Spelling finally confirmed the news that a new baby was on the way after she was spotted with some extra weight on her this summer, 35 pounds extra.
Radar snarkily wondered whether Spelling and her husband will be able to afford a new addition to the family since it's been reported that the actress was sued back in January by American Express for more than $40,000 in unpaid bills. She also was hit with a $259K tax claim in July.
Her father, film and television producer Aaron Spelling, died in 2006. Besides Beverly Hills, 90210," his successes included "Charlie's Angels," "The Love Boat," and "Dynasty."
