Tom Arnold has not been afraid to express his disdain for the Trump administration, and in his latest antic, the actor shared the personal cell phone number of President Donald Trump's top aid, Hope Hicks, to social media after she tested positive for the coronavirus.
Hours before Trump announced he had contracted the virus, it emerged that Hicks, who had traveled with him during the week, had tested positive. Arnold urged his followers to contact Hicks directly to wish her well.
"Silent thoughts & prayers aren't enough for national treasure Hope Hicks," the 61-year-old actor wrote, according to Fox News. "She needs to hear them."
Arnold included a number in his post that he claimed was "her personal cell."
Hicks began experiencing mild symptoms on Wednesday evening while on a plane with Trump and other senior staff en-route to a rally in Minnesota, said an anonymous administration official. Hicks had also accompanied the president to Cleveland on Tuesday for the presidential debate. Other members of the Trump family were present and none wore masks during the event.
It is unclear where they caught the virus but Trump appeared to point his finger at military and law enforcement officials.
"It’s very, very hard when you are with people from the military or from law enforcement, and they come over to you, and they want to hug you, and they want to kiss you because we really have done a good job for them," Trump said in an interview with Fox. "You get close. And things happen."
