Tiffany Trump, the president's youngest daughter, has chosen to attend law school at Georgetown University in the fall.
Trump graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2016 and moved to New York during the presidential election to be near her father, President Donald Trump, and study for the LSAT exam in preparation for attending law school.
His only child with ex-wife Marla Maples, Tiffany Trump has appeared at several White House and Trump family events including the Easter Egg Roll, brother Barron’s bowling 11th birthday party, and a Wounded Warriors fundraising event in Washington last month, CNN reported. Her boyfriend Ross Mechanic attended some of the events, including her father’s inauguration, with her.
On Friday, Trump celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea with her father, first lady Melania Trump, and Australian Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull and his wife, on board the USS Intrepid.
Trump was raised in California by her mother, whom she praised last year in People magazine for giving her a normal childhood.
She also spoke highly of her father at the Republican National Convention, saying he was a “natural-born encourager,” and friendly, funny, and real.
Brother Eric Trump and sister Ivanka Trump also attended Georgetown, with Ivanka transferring from there to the University of Pennsylvania, from which her father graduated.
Tiffany worked as a model while attending college and preparing for law school.
Twitter users were quick with congratulations, although some joked that the family may need lots of lawyers at some point.
