"American Pie" and "Sharkado" actress
Tara Reid was spotted in the Los Angeles area recently looking "scarily thin," according to reports.
The Daily Mail published photos of Reid lounging poolside at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday wearing a bikini and shorts. Reid was with her musician boyfriend Erez Eisen and her two children.

"However there's no denying that the 38-year-old 'American Pie' [star] doesn't look like she's been eating much sweet stuffed pastry recently as she looked scarily thin at a Hollywood pool on Sunday," the Daily Mail wrote.
In addition,
OK! Magazine's Annie Gregory said Reid looked "shockingly thin" in photos two days earlier, as photographers caught her shopping in Los Angeles.
"Revealing her skinny frame in a pair of low-slung jeans and a bomber jacket that sat above her hips, she showed off a very small waist as she was snapped," Gregory wrote. "Carrying a small, black handbag, Tara flashed a smile as she spent quality time with her man and his two children."
However, Reid posted a photo of herself indulging in ice cream on Twitter on Tuesday.
Some on Twitter expressed surprise at how thin Reid looks in the recent photos.
Reid posted a photo on her Facebook page this past week of
her latest movie project, "Sharkado 2," in promotion of the low-budget sequel of "Sharknado," which has a cult following.
