"Three's Company" star Suzanne Somers is nursing a fractured hip and is blaming it on "all that sex" she has been having with her husband, Alan Hamel.

The 73-year-old offered the cheeky comment in an interview with Dr. Oz on Friday's show.

"I thought when I was 73, I'd be old," she told the TV host, according to Daily Mail. Instead Somers said she felt filled with energy, fractured hip and all. "That slows me down a little bit, but that's just from all that sex Alan and I are having," she joked.

Somers first drew attention to her injury earlier this week when she was seen out and about with a crutch. She was not prepared to let a fractured hip stop her from getting glammed up though, or from getting frisky with her husband.

"I have a crutch and my 5-inch Manolo Blahniks," she told Page Six on Tuesday. Somers then proudly announced that she and Hamel were having sex twice a day.

"I had to stay in bed for six weeks, no moving," she said of her recovery, adding that they came up with the perfect way to ease the boredom. "My husband went to bed with me."

After over 40 years of marriage, the two know how to keep the spark alive. Feeling young and full of energy plays a big role for Somers, who said she was not afraid of aging, or how it would affect her relationship. Helping them along is natural hormone therapy.

"I’m kind of in that groove, like when you were younger and you’re in the mood all the time, and so is he, because he’s on hormone replacements," she previously told Daily Mail.

Somers has long touted the benefits of natural medicine. In 2000, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and opted for less conventional treatment.

She decided to forgo chemotherapy and underwent a lumpectomy and radiation therapy while complementing her treatment with alternative medicine.

"The idea of fighting cancer with harsh chemical poisons. I just couldn't reckon with it," she said, according to Pop Culture. "My doctor at the time said, 'You're going to die.' I said, 'Honestly, with all due respect, I think I will die if I do what you tell me to do.'"

Twenty years later, Somers is feeling better than ever. Now she is sharing her story in hopes of inspiring other women dealing with cancer.

"As someone who has survived breast cancer, you can be a victim, and 'poor me' and 'why did this happen to me?'" she previously told Yahoo Lifestyle.

"And I don’t mean that in a cold or judgmental way at all. But what good does that do you? How is that going to inspire others, move you forward as a person? Everything that happens to us as individuals is an opportunity for growth, spiritually and emotionally."
