A perfect stranger is donating his kidney to Robert Leibowitz, who wore his desperate need for one on his shirt while visiting Disney World earlier this year. The kingdom’s magic worked and now a transplant is scheduled for early next year.

In true storybook fashion, a photo of Leibowitz taken by a park visitor went viral within hours of being posted on social media, and when Richie Sully in Fort Wayne, Indiana, saw the plea he decided to act, WPTA-TV reported.

Still, a little more pixie dust is needed to make it all come true.

Leibowitz has chronic kidney disease and has been on dialysis for three years, ABC News reported. Although he has been on five different transplant lists, he wasn’t able to find a match.

In August, Leibowitz was strolling through Disney World with his family wearing a white T-shirt reading, "In Need of Kidney O Positive," with a phone number to call, Business Insider reported.

Rocio Yanira Sandoval happened to pass by with her husband and she spotted the shirt. She asked Leibowitz if she could take a photo to share on social media.

The image and touching caption on Facebook suddenly had more than 91,000 shares.

"I called the guy and I left him a message and he called back a few days later and here we are," said Sully, per WPTA.

Several rounds of tests later and it was determined that the two were a match and the surgery was cleared for early 2018.

Max Leibowitz, one of Robert's five children, penned a touching Facebook post thanking Sully for his selfless act.

"I'd like to think that if the roles were reversed, and my time here was limited because of kidney disease, that someone, a parent or not, would come along and say here have my kidney, and have some more time with your daughters," Sully said.

Insurance is covering the surgery, but Sully has to find his own way to New York, and there are no free carpet rides in this story, so a fundraising campaign has been set up.

“It seems that doing the right things isn’t free . . . or cheap” Sully says on the fundraising campaign’s webpage. “So, while Robert’s insurance will pay for the testing and the eventual surgery, I have to pay to get my happy self over to Le Huge Apple. Unfortunately, once I get there, it’s also the most expensive place in the world to stay.”

Sully said every bit of help was appreciated, “more than you can ever know.”
