A skunk with a beer can stuck on his head gave new meaning to the phrase "drunk as a skunk" over the weekend.
Police in Oxford, Ohio, received reports of the animal stumbling around — fittingly — near a fraternity house on Miami University's campus on Sunday.
"They said the poor thing was banging, couldn't see where he was going,"
Sgt. John Varley told Cincinnati.com. "So he was running into shrubs."

The two officers who responded to the call snapped a picture of the beer can skunk while waiting for animal control.
"[Animal control] was able to pull the can off the skunk's head without getting sprayed," Varley said. "He was released on OR [own recognizance]."
The skunk's awful, but legendary defensive spray is used
scare off intruders, according to National Geographic. The oily mist can travel 10 feet, linger for many days, and is difficult to remove.

bear cub got its head stuck in a cookie jar in New Jersey and had to be freed by local firefighters after it became lodged up a tree.
