Christine Brown, best known as Kody Brown's third wife in "Sister Wives," is sharing how she copes with the drama that is currently unfolding on the TLC show. In the latest season, which takes a closer look at the lives of a polygamous family, there is a breakdown in the relationship between Kody and his first wife, Meri. Speaking with OK! Magazine, Christine admitted she has been avoiding watching the show.
"I’ll turn the volume down lower and things like that. Just because it is difficult. It is hard," she said, according to Pop Culture. "Honestly, the whole thing’s been kind of sad."
Also in the interview, Christine said she wished she could protect her children from the reality of the situation. She shares six kids with Kody, who has 18 children in total with his four wives.
"I want them to just live in a little bubble with regards to our show a little bit," she said, adding that it was "hard for them" to see "the relationship stuff."
Last month, Meri opened up to People about the disintegration of her marriage with Kody, stating that she was "not going to give up" on them.
"I think that all relationships, you know, have issues that they have to work through. And I think that's just kind of where we're at right now. For me personally, I'm not one that's going to give up," she said. "I'm just going to keep at it, you know? Ebb and flows in the relationship ... I think that's just kind of normal."
