Shemar Morrow, a 6-foot-2-inch Ohio sixth grader, is wowing just about everyone with his athletic ability on the basketball court, including dunks and scoring 53 points at a youth game. He’s already being looked at as a potential college player from the class of 2020.
Morrow also has drawn the attention of northeast Ohio high schools, even when he’s two years away from playing at that level,
City League Hoops said. Despite his youth, Morrow is displaying a strong athleticism, shown in particular during a National Youth Basketball League game where he scored a whopping 53 points.

Numerous videos of Morrow swooping in for dunks during that NYBL game are going viral, as watchers are struck by his size and his ability.
“Sixth grade?! That's just not fair... :-D” wrote Charles Cheeks on a video.
And several others asked, “What does he eat?” in their amazement at Morrow’s size.
Many are already predicting Morrow’s future basketball career — from high school on up.
It’s not just the young man’s dunks that make him stand out either. Middle School Hoops, which covers middle school basketball, tweeted:

Nation's Best Talent website, which tracks talented youngsters in basketball, called him a “monster” on the court in 2013, when he was just in fifth grade. “Shemar Morrow plays for the George Hill Rising Stars 5th Grade team and is already dunking a basketball. Many in Ohio say he is the next LeBron James,” the site wrote.
