Hannity Is Top Talker in Nation

Sean Hannity is the top talker in the nation, according to industry leaders and the editors of Talkers magazine who decided the 100 most important radio talk show hosts in the U.S.

Each year the panel sifts through thousands of talk show hosts across the country to compile the list, known as the "Heavy Hundred," based on courage, effort, impact, service and talent.

When the selection was narrowed down to the top 100, it included several Newsmax TV radio hosts.

Here are the top 10 talkers in the "Heavy Hundred":

1. Sean Hannity, for the "Sean Hannity Show" on Premiere Networks

2. Rush Limbaugh, for "The Rush Limbaugh Show" on Premier Networks

3. Dave Ramsey, for "The Dave Ramsey Show."

4. Mark Levin, for "The Mark Levin Show" on Westwood One

5. Howard Stern, for "The Howard Stern" Show on SiriusXM

6. Michael Savage, for "The Savage Nation" on Westwood One

7. Joe Madison, for "Joe Madison The Black Eagle" on SiriusXM

8. Laura Ingraham, for "The Laura Ingraham Show" on Courtside Entertainment

9. Thom Hartmann, for "The Thom Hartmann Program" on WYD Media

10. Mike Gallagher, for "The Mike Gallagher Show" on the Salem Radio Network

Newsmax TV radio hosts included on the top 100 are Joe Pagliarulo at 14th, Howie Carr at 16th, Todd Schnitt at 23rd, and Joe Walsh at 95th.
